As Malaysia’s water demand is forecasted to surge 63% by 2050, the SMARTWATER EXPO will provide a crucial platform to demonstrate how 5G, IoT, AI and other emerging tools can modernize treatment and distribution. This will be crucial for enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of water infrastructure in the face of dwindling resources.

By facilitating knowledge-sharing and highlighting cutting-edge digital solutions, the SMARTWATER EXPO aims to equip municipalities, industries and experts with the capabilities required to manage water challenges exacerbated by climate change. Co-located with the Smart Nation Expo 2024, this event is expected to draw over 20,000 trade buyers from 54 countries seeking to drive transformative change in water management.
