As part of Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to enhancing infrastructure, the 2025 Budget has allocated over RM9.3 billion to the Ministry of Works for upgrading and maintaining critical public infrastructure. This significant investment will support the development of federal and secondary roads, as well as other key infrastructure projects that are essential for improving connectivity and driving economic growth. Furthermore, the budget places a strong emphasis on empowering local contractors, particularly Bumiputera G1 to G4 contractors, with increased opportunities to contribute to smaller, community-driven projects.
In line with our national focus on modernization, the SMART NATION 2025 EXPO serves as an exceptional platform for global collaboration and the exchange of ideas, all aimed at shaping the future of technology and digital transformation. This event is a testament to Malaysia’s forward-thinking vision of integrating technology with infrastructure development to create smarter, more sustainable urban spaces for the future.
